-if both laptops have wireless network card :

in your laptop properties of the internet connection click advanced =%26gt; tick the "allow other network users to connect through this computer internet connction" an pick the wireless connection

then configure the the properties if the wireless network card to be in "ad-hoc" mode, also change you mam laptop wireless network card to "ad-hoc" mode , do a search for a network in your laptop mam

- if you havn't wireless network card , then you should use normal network socket which is exist in all laptops and you need a hub or switch

Read the following for setting up a wireless network or go to your local pcworld they will help you.
You need a wireless connections plug into each of the laptops and the router/modem plugged in the main phoneline.
