Teachers at school monitoring computers?

I know like the Computer teacher has AB tutor to lock/unlock and monitor the computers. Could the principal or soemone be using a program like that to find out what websites or programs the students were using? If so how can i stop it? Somone told me that just deleteing your cookies can stop them from seeing your websites, is that true? Please i must know!

First of all it's obvious from your question that you are not too sure about the security set up at school. You must understand that the IT people are pretty good or would not be in the job. They will more than likely catch you and be able to check on your history even though you have removed it from the computer you are on. Be very careful.

Yes the principal could.

No, deleting the cookies won't help. They can look at the network logs and extract website addresses from there. At least, they can if they've set it up right.

Maybe you shouldn't do anything you shouldn't do at school.
They very well could be using a program to moniter what programs you've been using, but to stop it you would need to be able to hack the system to get administrator programs to stop it. (which would probably land you in worse trouble then whatever you are doing on the computers).
