Yes I believe they are bad... hurting the brain? yes.

We only utilize less than 5% of our brain capacity and computers dont help in that we are more passive to what the computer displays vs. what we can make out of our lives.

Computers have some good points...ie. making connections with people.... but on the whole spectrum of our technology..... technology is the demise of the human race.... the easier things have become , the lazier we get and the more self-serving we are.

Even though you can meet communities and such, I really think people are MORE lonely and MORE disconnected than ever before in this digital age with the phasad of "we are family" from all these chat rooms and groups that connect people on the superficial level. Internet Dating is the WORST phenomenon ever, people lie, and more people have access to cheat on spouses from this machine.

Sitting around staring at a screen can be hard on your eyes and can give you a head ache. Sitting too long can hurt your back. Using a mouse to much can damage your wrist.
oh my... yes they have radiation and can SLOWLY burn your retina but other than that... it keeps you from doing other things like homework, cooking dinner, actually listening to what your wife has to say, but hey, thats your choice, right?
