I've been working tech support in one form or another since college.

2. Currently I am tech support for a major ISP, I fix the internets and VoIP when it doesn't work for our subscribers.

3. yes, and no. I love fixing things but I hate stupid people who just want to call and complain loudly.

4. I went to college and I have lots of experience.

5. Pathetic, you don't want to know. The money is in programing, or sysadmin stuff . Tech support is not worth much.
You have to be more specific as to what you want to do with computers. Most jobs today are working with computers.
