There are currently 4 computers in my house, all running Windows XP. We all receive the same internet via a router. My problem is we cannot see each other on the sharing network. I have tried setting up the network via the wizard in my network places but it didn't help. What can I do?

All computers need to have same subnet mask. (If added manualy) and a same workgroup. And something shared (shared documents or a folder you want to share)

Since you get the internet connection for all the computers, your IP setting is OK. Now go to my computer, on left side menu select "My Network Places" then select "View Workgroup Computers". If everything OK, you should see all the workgroups of your four computers assuming if they have different workgroups. Click the workgroup to see which computers are using the workgroup. Click the computer to see what items are being shared.
Or you can try to search the computer name by going to %26lt;start%26gt; %26lt;search%26gt; and choose "computers or people", select "A computer on the network" and put the computer's name inside the box.
Try this method first before proceed to other steps.
On the wizard make sure that you all are all on the same network (default WORKGROUP). Then, the easiest way to access the computer, is to go into a web browser/explorer and type "\\DESKTOP" if DESKTOP was the name of your computer.
