Are mac computers immune to getting viruses?
Mac computers?suzuki
Not really. Like what other's say, people develop viruses that are meant for pcs. Hackers don't waste their time on Macs because it has no enterprise value whatsoever. Microsoft on the other hand, is a hacker magnet. Thousands of hackers out there develop viruses to destroy pcs and extract classified information on Microsoft's latest software, etc. Even if Apple anounces that Leopard is the most advanced operating system in the world, they won't be able to attract hackers.
Unless, if there were a few who spend some time developing viruses for Macs then we could finally say that Macs are not 100% immune to viruses. There have been cases where Macs were attacked with worms (a low-priority virus) and nothing less. Plus, Apple released security updates out of the blue to their clients. This made clients wonder if their operating systems were immune to viruses why need an update?
Well, Apple is just trying to play it safe with the public as to not to ruin their reputation.
Mac computers?virus
they are saffer than microsoft. but still u need an anti virus for mac too
no
No despite what some people say. There are a couple of viruses for Mac computers. There are not as many as with a Windows based machine. This is partly due to the number of people trying to make viruses for Windows computers compared to the number trying to make them for Mac computers.

No, but most people create viruses that attack PC's. Because, hackers usually attack business which use PC鈥檚 more than MACs. Also, most people are more familiar with PC鈥檚.
