Why do all my computers and laptops says I need a graphics card with pixel shader 1.1 or better to play Medieval: Total War II? It also isn't good enough to play World of Warcraft despite 2 of the 3 computers being post-2004.

Does your graphics card meet the pixel shader 1.1 standard? If not, you will need a new video card. The year in which a comp was built is mostly irrelevant, since good PCs can be upgraded over the years.
