explaining the importance of computers to banking systems.
No computers no banking system, discuss.?anti virus software
more paper work, files and more time consuming. the idea of computers was to create less work, be more time efficient and employ less staff.
everything would take longer to process, heavy reliance on postal service and not computer to computer communication.
huge storage spaces needed for customer files, statements, transaction details etc... no cash points, no debit cards or credit cards, everything done by cheque which would create more fraud.
overall, no computers in todays society would mean hell and bring the world to a standstill if it was all taken away tomorrow.
No computers no banking system, discuss.?aurora
Computers are vital to banking, whilst we had banks before we had computers, if all computers were destroyed, the country / world would fall into anarchy.
Banks have been around longer than computers so its not crucial. But now they're dependant on them. If all the computers dissapeared then the whole economy would be screwed.
The y2k bug scare that was around painted a pretty grim view of what the world would be without computers
Lots of information to keep track of.
Too much reliance on computers nowadays.
You used to know who your bank manager was a few years ago. Now it's so impersonal and dishonest.
Go back to the good old days I say.
