Well, computers will give off radio frequency interference, but the odds of a computer giving off any type of harmful radiation is nill. You shouldn't have to worry about that. If you're using a CRT monitor, yes it does give off some harmful radiation, but if you're using an LCD panel, you have nothing to worry about.

those old CRT monitors do.
The thin ones are ok. (LCD)
but those huge monitors are bad. Thats why they had those shields. But some came with built in radiation protection screens
not that i know of,it's a computer not a microwave.
