Any use in learning Computers?

Ok, im a sophmore in high school and im taking a class where i learn how to use, HTML, LINUX, PERL, and JAVA SCRIPT. I took this class beaucse i want to learn more about computers. But is there any sence in taking this class when big companys are firing thousands of computer software peoples and hiring people from india just to save money!? Should i even consider a job with comuters when so may people are losing there jobs? Any info would be appreciated thanks! =)

Well, then you need to be sure in what field you want to work at, to be realistic in any field they want to hire cheap labor, so... that can't stop you from studying something or working in any field, you have to options: Be the best or not to. If even being the best in your field that can happens... well you will certainly not find a good job if you're not a qualify worker.
