Laptop computers??

I need a new laptop. A Fast one. So what would be the best brand to buy. I was thinking mac book air but I dont know if they are good computers.

like some of them said... if money isnt an object get alienware (really expensive), or macbook. there still expensive compared to some others but there good. if you want a good laptop for a little less i would go with dell (only get the laptops). as far as desktops go dont go with dell.
this site will give you a sony vaio laptop just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want/need a laptop (like me).

to tell you the truth...i have sunken to the dell level. they make the shitiest desktops ever, but i have and am using a dell inspiron e1505, and it really is the best computer i have EVER used. it has 1.5gb ram, 100GB HDD Intel centrino duo 2GhZ processor Vista 32bit, and it is extremely fast compared to any desktop ive used. i am buying an external 250GB HDD just to keep my extra things on.
dont get mac book air, i know it looks great but the spec really isnt that good, personally i would go for something a bit cheaper or a bit more spec but dont get mac book air
