Two computers have to have different IP addresses. If they're the same it causes an IP conflict. Its like each house on the same street has to have a different number, or the post gets all muddled or not sent at all.

Yep! Different computers always have different IP addresses, no matter where they are located.
Sure, that's what a router is for. It gives out the IP address so you can get online. The 'main' ip address from your ISP goes to the router. SO if you dont have a router get one.
All computers need their own ip address that's different or it won't work.
yes, the IP is the computer equivlant to a Social Security Number. every computer has their own, no matter how they connect.
they not only can they will have two different IP address.

as rule two computers can't have the same IP addressess
i am pretty sure it has to do with the network
certainly will.
Yes, they can. My husband and I have 2 computers that are networked and we have two seperate IP addresses. We have dynamic or ever changing IP addresses. They are recycled.
Yes every computer has a different IP address. Every single one is unique.
each computer has a separate ip adress, if you are using a router it is a bit more complicated
Assuming they are on the same network, THye must have different addresses. When two computers on the same network have the same IP address NIC get very confused....Just think what the mailman would do if two houses on your street had the same address!!!!
All computers have their own individual IP address, regardless of what location or building they're in. So, yes, two computers can have different IP addresses if they're in the same house.
Each computer has it's own unique IP address. It has nothing to do with location.
Yep. Ok i figure it like this....u know how everybody has a different socoal security number and they are never the same and if they r u have a GIGANTIC problem well IP addresses are like socoal security numbers for computers!!
