yes...you have to wipe out your computer and reinstall the os...even if you back up the old stuff it will still be in Vista format so probably will not work on xp...my husband is an IT guy....@%26#125;-%26#123;---

You will have to back everything up %26 format the hard drive.
you will lose everything. you will be forced to move. you will have trouble finding a new job. don't do it.
a good chance u will...especially if the files were using applications for Vista...
the FIRST thing you do is BACKUP EVERY piece of data. Burn it all - docs, music, graphics, onto a DVD or CD, then dump Vista and reload XP. MAKE SURE that you still have the verification codes for XP, or you'll be in real trouble. Take it easy, concentrate on the job at hand, and take your time.

Good luck.
No, its better. Vista is still not stable. Wait till Microsoft release patched versions. Remember XP when it first launched? There's still bugs in XP
depends on how you downgrade
nope
you mean take off Vista? depends...taking off windows just like that doesn't usually go very smooth

so you should make a backup just in case
you might get a back up disc before you do it
