Can you hook up 2 computers in the same house with DSL?

When you get DSL, you have to put those attachments on each phone outlet in the house. so can you hook up a computer to each separate outlet? So as to have high-speed connection to multiple computers through the same phone line? and if so, is there anything more than just hooking up the phone cable(s) to the computer? do you have to do more than just plugging in?

Some DSL modems support ethernet and usb simultaneously. If yours does not, buy a Linksys WRT54G router. One of your computers will require a wireless adapter.

buy a wireless G router and plug in to the modem. now all wifi pc's are online
Yeah, buy a wireless router after looking at reviews. We use Linksys wireless G 2.4 GHz.
No! You need a router/modem to replace the original modem. You then connect all the machines to the router.
